![]() And the Hauppauge cards (of which I have a couple) seem to all focus on tuning analog TV signals. They didn't typically have full-sized ports on the expansion bracket, rather, used a breakout cable. PCI based ATI All-In-Wonders are what I'm familiar with in the Windows world, but finding a working one is getting to be difficult, especially with the video-in adapters included. I'm ok with FireWire, USB, PCIe or PCI as interfaces. So I'm looking into older capture cards from back when composite video was way more prevalent. One nice thing is it works without drivers in OBS on Windows. Can't believe some people are selling these for over $50. It's pretty shit, as you would expect for the price point. I got this cheap $10 thing that is sold by a million different vendors as a million different models, but they are all the same thing, and really it's the only option other than the aforementioned StarTechs, or used cards. ![]() There is a handful of StarTech cards on Amazon that look pretty good, but they are hella expensive. I definitely need composite, VGA would be great, and S-Video and Component would be stretch goals. I'm looking for a quality analog capture card. I'm asking in this forum because FireWire had a way better ecosystem on Mac than Windows, and video production has always been a Mac thing, so AV Club might not be the best place to ask.
